And I'm confident Deron will have a better year next year than any year he had with Brooklyn. A good coach will do that for you.

He turned Monta Ellis' career around, and got him a nice fat deal. If healthy, Deron will be just fine. All-Star? Nah. But a good starter? Yep. Plus Chandler and Wes are the kind of players that Deron needs to be around. Shame we couldn't keep Tyson...

he knew there was no guarantee they would be back in the Finals 

he showed love to a franchise that showed love to him
