Watch the Dirk documentary that just came out and tell me you honestly think he cares about money. He doesn't. He has enough.

And I'm confident Deron will have a better year next year than any year he had with Brooklyn. A good coach will do that for you.

He turned Monta Ellis' career around, and got him a nice fat deal. If healthy, Deron will be just fine. All-Star? Nah. But a good starter? Yep. Plus Chandler and Wes are the kind of players that Deron needs to be around. Shame we couldn't keep Tyson...

Turned Monta's career around? Where was it in danger of going? That was no reclamation project. They NEEDED him.

Wishful thinking on Deron. A different coach isnt going to change the fact he's just not the same player anymore. Red Auerbach wouldn't have saved him from being washed
