Anthony Randolph deserves to be in the NBA 2k hall of fame. Dude was like Kevin Garnett and Larry Bird fused on some DBZ **** in that game.

@KBergCBS: Demarcus Cousins in the building for Kings' Summer League game here in Vegas. Walked past George Karl without incident -- or interaction.

@SpearsNBAYahoo: DeMarcus Cousins exchanged lengthy pleasantries with ex-Kings head coach Michael Malone, now head coach of the Nuggets, before the game.

:nerd: :nerd:

 just fire Karl

Where's @Chester McFloppy to make sense of the Fox News spin job my man ShoeKing is trying to accomplish trying to act like resigning Austin rivers instead of Jamal Crawford is a better basketball decision

Dude had 2 good games the entire year and he's a better basketball player than the former 6th man of the year now?

Only thing saving that inefficient long 2 point chucker is his dad being the gm bro

You gotta chill out bro this isn't a spin job. And considering that he had offers and interest from other teams, I doubt he would have been out of the league if we didn't pick him up this summer. (Unless you're referring to prior his arrival with the clips, then yeah he probably would have)

I've been clamoring for this for months now in the clipper thread

This isn't about Austin being a better basketball player than Jamal. It's about who can be a better fit moving forward with the team and as the season progressed last year, Austin was a miles better defender than Jamal and we need that more than what Jamal can bring, especially with lance in the 2nd unit who's also a better defender.

The combination of Austin and lance, especially defensively makes Crawford expendable.

Relax

I wonder if Thabeet has a lot of that $17M he's made in the NBA? I;d have to imagine he saw himself as a 15 year player, so saving was probably the last thing on his mind.

He does qualify for the NBA pension having played 3 seasons min.

It was obviously a very smart move.

No way they were letting dude walk.

Dudes were trolling, had to be
He's obviously talented, but I don't know how I feel about paying that much for a guy who in all likelihood, will be on the bench in moments of crisis during the postseason. I could see him sitting out plenty of 4th quarters down the stretch.

Ultimately, it just boils down to how good does one think Kanter is. Is his offense good enough to override his defensive shortcomings? We'll be.

That being said, you definitely didn't want to lose him for nothing. Tough spot to be in.
