Its hilarious to me the amount of people saying CP3 made Deandre like that dude wasn't putting up 14 and 18 for extended stretches without CP3 even playing.

It shows who actually pays attention to the NBA.

Now if you say you think Deandre can't flourish without Blake you might have an argument.

Where were you with this point of view as I went down in flames during the season for saying this?

I don't think DJ will flourish at all in Dallas. His team isn't built right there. With Monte gone who's gonna carry the scoring load? I hope not that punch drunk fighter looking Dirk I last saw.

Not surprised DJ left but shocked he went to the Mavs

Props to them. They low key was having a Blazers type FA with players leaving until this.
Wait what?

Guess if you gonna lie, lie big. That **** clearly worked on DJ  :smh:
.

That good ol' white lie

DJ is a poor free throw shooter and anchored a league average defense and is just an average rim protector

This isn't a "oh he's gone so let's **** on him" because he does have some fantastic qualities. Great p&r defender, rebounder, and finisher. However his impact on the floor is inflated by being on the floor with cp and Blake.

Bruh I remember telling you dj's defense wasn't all that and you argued against me saying he was dpoy candidate and the clippers had a top 10 defense after the all star break

It's cool man, you can go back to not being a fan now that they suck again

I'm more concerned with the Mavs lack of playmaking ability. They did have guys like Monta, VC, Calderon, Kidd in the past to throw alleys to Tyson and Wright. Right now, you're talking about Devin Harris and Barea. Big difference.

The Los Angeles Clippers returned from their longest trip of the season in February having lost five of their eight games. But DeAndre Jordan posted some of the best numbers of his career over the stretch, including a 22-point, 27-rebound, 3-block effort in a win at Dallas to finish the trip.

The core of the team had been together for more than three years, and tempers were wearing thin. Jordan and Chris Paul had gotten into it more than once, which led Jordan to start seriously contemplating what it might be like to play elsewhere in 2015-16.

He was tired of Paul's constant barking and petty gestures, like distributing high-fives to the three other guys on the floor following a timeout but somehow freezing out Jordan. Optics aside, the biggest issue for Jordan was that, despite the leaps and bounds he made to be named first team all-defense, the Clippers always treated him like the player he was when he arrived in the NBA, and never like the player he'd become.

Meanwhile, the Clippers' meeting didn't include a single player. Griffin, of course, was in constant touch with his confidant, but Paul was off in the Bahamas with LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony. Paul made only half-hearted attempts to reach out to Jordan late in the process, according to sources close to the process. At a certain point, the balance of affection tipped, and there weren't enough dinners at Katsu-Ya or testimonials to Jordan about how much he'd flourished under Rivers' development to keep Jordan in Los Angeles.

Jordan looks to step out of Clippers stars' shadows

Look at Deandre's gamelog with no CP3 in the lineup. Not much changed stat wise.

You do realize Brandon Wright only came into the game when Devin Harris came in the game rightr?

I also remember this.

Seems like just yesterday...

http://grantland.com/the-triangle/i...clippers-are-the-second-best-team-in-the-nba/

Before the craziness of Wednesday’s game against the Blazers, they were one of only three teams in the top five in offensive and defensive efficiency since the All-Star break. The other two (the Warriors and the Spurs) are lauded for their depth while the Clippers are rightly ridiculed for their dearth

Top 5 in defensive efficiency but nah. DJ overrated. Good riddance. Ekpe Udoh.

It was the system overall, CP3 definitely enhanced it all though
That's your example bruh?

Maybe Cuban is right, he's a 20-20 guy.

I was trying to figure out what Brandan Wright has to do with DJ maintaining and improving his production in Dallas

Harris and barea is who they had when they were tearing it up with a historic offense last season. The rondo trade completely screwed their offense.

This. You could probably say the same about blake without cp3

The point guard rotation was Jameer Nelson, Devin Harris, and JJ Barea prior to Rondo coming on board. We were on a historic offensive pace prior to the trade. And then faltered incredibly post-trade.
