I dont mind him getting that money, he was our best defending PG.

I just don't know how I feel about my backup PG making almost $8m a year. I like Joseph a lot, but I felt like he was no more than a full MLE player at the most.

That is MLE money with the rising cap. It may be even a little less than MLE money with the rise in cap.
It's a solid deal. He's 23 years old and from what I saw filled in greatly when Mills and Parker were out. He's great defensively too.
