Everyone keep asking if the spurs are keeping Diaw. I believe he signed a two year deal last season. He's not a FA.

Spurs are still the 3rd or 4th best team in the West, if that.

2nd or 1st. Nothing below that.

ESPN sources say that Cavs, in addition to Joe Johnson trade, are also exploring a Jamal Crawford-for-Brendan Haywood trade with Clippers

Damn, that's how bad a spot we're in. Teams offering us Brendan Haywood. When's the last time that dude played any meaningful minutes in an NBA game?

sure the spurs are a title contender, but why would West come into a conference in which he's going to be battling against dominant or more athletic bigs (AD, Gasol, Zbo, Dwight, Blake, Boogie, even Bogut).

Pop is going to rest the "big 3" but still, health will be a factor. This will probably be the case for any team, but age definitely aint on the spurs side. I'm not writing the spurs in as champs.

It's for his non-guaranteed contract which we would then move for a center.

Clippers should have ran for Seattle when they had the chance. With CP getting older the West stacked and the Lakers with legit young talent. The future looks suspect.
