People still fall for these fake tweets?

Bruh, just follow Woj, Aldridge, Stein, & Broussard. Those 4 announced like 99% of the NBA deals/trades.

Yeah, I have learned my lesson.

Lakers need Kobe to retire already. I honestly think him still being there makes LAL a less attractive destination for big FAs. Not that he's a bad guy or even a bad teammate, but there's no way to avoid being in his shadow as long as he's there.
Completely agree. At this point playing with Kobe is not a privilege, you are pretty much stuck dealing with the old grumpy dude who won't help you learn the game at the pace needed.
Reminds me of Brett Farve in Green Bay as long as he is around you really can't move forward until they are gone. Basically handcuffing the franchise.....

Obama in Tennessee: "I'm also willing to talk about the women's soccer team...I can talk NBA free agency, I can talk about the Predators."

This has been known for a minute.

Nelly was just speaking truth on his First Take appearance :smokin

Can someone answer why LMA would leave PDX to go to PHX when you're basically going to be in the same position in terms of winning?

They don't have anyone to blame but themselves

One note on today's spending spree: DeMarcus Cousins contract--about $50 million over the next three seasons--is an absolute bargain.

LaMarcus Aldridge indeed impressed by Spurs, per source, but still plans to complete scheduled meetings w/teams before deciding.

People actually think LaMarcus could go to PHX? Not happening, just like last year when Carmelo met with Houston and Dallas. Just enjoying the free ride.

Carroll got 60 mil?!?!?!

And people need to start moving past the "OMG THEY OVERPAID" as it's been mentioned a hundred times, the rising cap will make these 15 million dollar a year contracts look a lot more reasonable. I was a victim of that myself when I saw "Paul Millsap 20 million a year?!?" but it's the new norm with the rising cap.
We still have to play the 15-16 and 16-17 seasons before the cap really explodes.

Until then, Millsap is taking up 33% of your space in year 1, and nearly a quarter of it in year 2.

Then in year 3 you're paying a 33 year old undersized PF above 20 mil when he may not even be starting for you at that point if you're Orlando. They just used the 4th overall pick on a PF last year.

It is a bad contract. And this comes from someone who's watched the vast majority of his games & is a fan.
