Nah. It's time to fire him because the body language experts are telling us his players don't respect him, whatever the hell that's worth.

Judging from the facts in that post & Cleveland being 2 wins away from the first title in franchise history while they were missing TWO All-NBA players, I'm gonna go out on a limb & say the Cavs are operating just fine. In the 2nd round they even beat a healthier team with a coach who's supposed to be miles ahead of Blatt.

Cleveland doesn't have to change a damn thing. They proved that even while significantly shorthanded, they're the East's best team & can be competitive with the West's best team.

If healthy they'll be right back in the finals with a great chance to win.

Hope my kickstand breaks and my bike falls? What is that?

I'm not saying Blatt should be fired because he's not from here, I'm saying he should be fired because he sucks. I also think a HC job for a different game was a little too much to start off his career here. Guy isn't well known here, you think the biggest star and name in the league is going to respect him? Hasn't shown him any respect since day one.

This sounds exactly like coach Spo in 2011.

 did yall read that bron blatt article LOL

They said the homie bron "emasculated" the coach

And we likewise saw LeBron emasculate David Blatt in ways that are simply unbecoming of a player of James’ legend-in-the-making stature.

I saw it from close range in my role as sideline reporter through the Finals for ESPN Radio. LeBron essentially calling timeouts and making substitutions. LeBron openly barking at Blatt after decisions he didn’t like. LeBron huddling frequently with Lue and so often looking at anyone other than Blatt.

There was LeBron, in one instance I witnessed from right behind the bench, shaking his head vociferously in protest after one play Blatt drew up in the third quarter of Game 5, amounting to the loudest nonverbal scolding you could imagine.

Which forced Blatt, in front of his whole team, to wipe the board clean and draw up something else.

Blatt did a great job with the defense the first three games. The last three, he didn't adjust as well but I can't blame him too much due to the personnel woes.

But what did they expect when they gave the egomaniac Lebron free reign over the franchise again. They are at his mercy, if he wants Blatt gone, he's done; there's no Pat Riley to put him in his place.

Exactly.

Was Blatt flawless? Of course not, but neither was Kerr.

I was never a Coach Spo fan. Him and Blatt are pushovers. Can't coach and lead men as a pushover. I think you take away coach for the entire season and they still make the Finals.

Look at Kerr. He's feisty. Yelling at refs and players, I didn't think he had it in him. Kerr led his team. Derek Fisher just sits there and stares into the court thinking about everything but basketball.

Jason Kidd is another new coach that I really like. Go ahead and post the spilled drink.

I don't see a pushover when I look at Blatt, though.

I see a guy that is trying to allow his Star player to have some control, without losing his own.

This is a tough task for anybody.

Throw in the fact of it being your first year in the League, that player being Lebron, and the media that points out all your "mistakes" and creates a story behind them and, well, you have some work to do to get everybody on the same page.

Anybody who has ever been in management or in charge of a group knows, that you can have a Cancer that will eat the whole Ball team, sales floor etc, if you cant control it.

Lebron needs to take it upon himself to control his ego, and let Blatt Coach.

The spilled drink move made me love him as a coach. That shows commitment.
Do what Bron tells you to do Gilbert or hes gone
That's pretty much where it's at, and that's...

... exactly what Dan deserves. :smokin

Good luck with your basketball reasons, Gilbert.

Remember how quick people were to call Kidd a bad coach on here though? JD, bring up the posts, please.

One random rumor doesn't mean Cousins is on the trading block. Of course other teams are interested in him. "Nuggets and Kings have had discussions" could mean the phone call went: "Hey would you entertain a deal centered around DeMar.." "Nope. *click*"

Vlade has made it pretty clear that he wants the team build around Cousins and he isn't considering trading him

Kidd had a great turn around. Those first couple of months were horrible. I was hoping Derek Fisher would be the same but he was consistently horrible.

Looks like Jeff Green and Eric Gordon exercised their player options

Trade Jeff Green for anything

>:  :smh:

Raj Sharan @Raj_Sharan

Per Joe Kotoch of @sheridanhoops, #Nuggets & #Kings have engaged in trade talks involving Boogie Cousins for Ty Lawson & Kenneth Faried.
10:54 AM - 18 Jun 2015

Vivek saw the lineup GSW won the title with and wants to emulate it.

Booker with the 6th pick all but confirmed.

i'm not gonna say he's a bad coach when his 2nd best player was a midseason D-League call up...
