I'm still not sure what Milwaukee has been doing since the off-season. A first rounder for Greasy and giving away Zaza and Dudley for nothing.

They did get Monroe
Yeah they did, but the way they managed their assets otherwise has been pretty bad this summer.

Was Dudley really an asset tho P? I figured they were just Making space for Monroe. With so many guys who can play multiple positions, JD seemed pretty useless for them.

Could've got a lil more for ZaZa tho IMO, especially since the Mavs were thirsty for a big.
Yes, probably their best bench player.

I believe they had enough space to begin with to sign Monroe outright.

How An Achilles Tear Affects NBA Players

A 2013 paper, "Performance Outcomes after Repair of Complete Achilles Tendon Ruptures in National Basketball Association Players," shed light on the danger with Achilles tears in the NBA.

Dr. Douglas Cerynik and Dr. Nirav H. Amin, both of Drexel University, were co-authors of the paper and kind enough to speak with me this past weekend. Along with their other collaborators, they examined 18 players who'd sustained ruptured Achilles tendons between the years of 1992 and 2012. Of those players, seven never returned to play in the NBA, and 11 came back for at least one season, but all 11 didn't play beyond two seasons.

We laugh at Vince McMahon demanding that his commentators tell certain stories but I think it is a SHAME that the Warriors D-League team won the D-League championship and it was not acknowledged by ABC. Not sure why this story wouldn't be pushed. Not to mention the Warriors won the Vegas Summer LEague last year as well. Just simple booking in my opinion to be honest. The NBA needs to push the D-League the same way the WWE has recently pushed NXT. Make it something that casual fans feel like they should seek out. It is your product @NBA .

Yup. Stop making the D League feel like a punishment to the players.

I mean, so were the Lakers, and look what it took to get Hibbert.

MUCH rather would've tried to pry away Hibbert and actually give something up.

People keep thinking someones going to overcome achilles injury. The worst injury you can have.

'Nique. :nerd:

But I agree. It's a hell of an injury to try and overcome. It's not as common as a lot of other sports injuries either though. We see a ton of guys ACL go out every year. We see an Achilles injury about once a year, if that.

Wilson isn't the best NBA player obviously, but he's one of my favorites. Always liked the way the guy carries himself.
