Eh, I think after all these meetings, both LMA and DJ should be able to make quick decisions. At some point, thinking over things can become counterproductive, IMO. Don't wait for some sign from above or light bulb to go off. Just pick.

I'm not mad at that opinion, just, it's literally been a few days. What does another few days (the weekend) do? Is it that big of a difference

You have to consider their families and other factors beyond basketball

Give him the weekend at least Jesus

It's not like he's pulling a Decision or anything

He and Jordan have a lot to think about

I guess its easier for a regular guy to say this than an NBA player, but I don't see why its so hard for both DJ and LMA. I guess I can understand DJ's situation a little more than LMA. There's a very good chance that if LMA goes to Phoenix, they are not contending over the next few years and may never be in serious contention. If he goes to SAS, he will have a very good shot at winning it all in Year 1 and possibly Year 2. After that, he and Kawhi would make a great 1-2 tandem and you're putting your faith in one of the best ran organizations over the last 15+ years. I wish we knew exactly why LMA was having such a tough time in this position. He had a pretty young group of guys in Portland as well and I fail to think his situation in Phoenix over the next 3-4 years would be better than Portland over the next 3-4 years if he stayed.

I didn't think about families and other factors, but that would make the decision for LMA even easier if he moves back to TX. But, what do I know.

Robin Lopez, four years-$54M with the Knicks.

Fair deal.
I think fair would have been 12m not 13.5m, that way they have a few extra millions to sign solid role players.

I think Fisher plays it 'safe' and starts Calderon early this season.

I'm very hopeful that Grant can step in and start at the 1 eventually, though. I'm worried about just going too hard too fast with a young guy like Grant.
I think Calderon should be traded, but if not Calderon, Grant, Affalo, Melo, Lopez ... That's if no one else sign .. Grant is a savy player with good BB IQ .. Unlike these kids that are drafted after a year, he was in a system for 4 ... So he's not that young per say ... He is good.

Marco's one of the best shooters in the league, $6M isn't bad at a for a specialist like him

True. I forget he played all four years.

Calderon is expiring next summer, right? Hopeful we can move him, but not optimistic. Really looking forward to what Grant could bring. Been hearing nothing but good things.

Man, I hope the Kings didn't give up those draft picks just to sign Belinelli and Rondo.

I think they would still have about $10 million left after those two signings (assuming Rondo signs for $10 mill, himself)...

Im sure the Warriors are going to after J-rich now that Marco is off the market

I was actually thinking that. I would love to have J Rich retire a Warrior, where he belongs. One of my favorite pictures in basketball all time is the one of Monta, Al Harrington and J Rich posing with their "We Believe" T shirts after the Dallas upset.
