PP update

Paul Pierce is "definitely" ‎playing next season and plans to pass on his player option with the Washington Wizards which is valued at $5.54 million, a source told ESPN.com's Marc Stein.

The question is which team Pierce will play for. According to a report in the Washington Post, Pierce will either return to the Wizards or join the Los Angeles Clippers to be reunited with his former head coach Doc Rivers.

Paul Pierce will be back for an 18th season and play for either the Wizards or Clippers.

The Clippers can acquire Pierce by offering him the taxpayer mid-level exception worth slightly less than $3.4 million. Washington will be able to offer Pierce a new deal starting in excess of $6 million once he opts out.

Well, Why would PP opt out if he was returning to the wizards?
He wouldn't

The writing was on the wall after the Stephenson trade

pp to the clips makes perfect sense...cause i hate pp and i hate the clips.

but in all honesty he would be a great pickup for them....its just that their defense isn't getting any better

hopefully getting two extra wings means they wont have bumte jones next year

hope he never finds another nba job ever again

I like Paul on the Wizards and on the Clippers. Feel like the Wiz can come out the east this year and LA can damn sure come out the west if he signs there.

i think you are completely wrong with both predictions.

clippers and wiz def not coming out of the west or east

This dude Glen is such a clown. Excuse after excuse
Dude was also puffing out his chest like he was able to have these great deals on the table

Na, we all see what you could do.. like trading away a first round pick just to dump Jared Dudley

Or not re-sign Darren Collison to instead sign Spencer Hawes (Hawes seemed like a good fit but he was a disaster last year)

Or drafting Bullocks then Wilcox, clones of each other in back to back drafts

Hell the Knicks of they pick up a FA like Love, LMA or Gasol and draft a Russell/Mudaiy become Top 6 team in the Easter conference. The conference is a joke man.

I just hope for the conference sake DWade stays in Miami and Bosh is healthy.

Cavs
Bulls
Heat
Knicks
Milwaukee
Wizard

Would be all contenders.

Dead srs ...

**** sounds so weak to

Warrior
Thunder
Memphis
Spurs
Clippers
Rockets

I was unbiased. Voted for the Warriors. I just don't see my lakers making noise yet. pot need to simmer a little bit longer.

Warriors are a safe bet to at least go deep and by keeping everyone else and moving Lee, they may only get better. I do wonder how winning will affect them though. May make them arrogant and complacent.

It will be a struggle for us to make the playoffs this year even if one of our guys has a ROY level first season

I thought the Knicks could get it together and make the playoffs last year.

I thought Melo/Jr/Chandler/Amare would be tough with the right attitude.

Man HELL NAH, I don't care who the Knicks pickup, Love, LMA, dope draft pick, those cats aren't going any where, even in the East. No no no. NO
