I like the Horford Comparrison.

I think he'll be exactly at that level. 13-15ppg and 8-10rpg with good defense and solid mid range.

I think we will look back at the 15 draft and realize Mudiay and Jahlil were the best prospects all along. Towns will be good though. Just think he will be more of a complimentary star like Horford rather than a Franchise player.

Exactly my thoughts.

The Timberwolves were on a two-year playoff drought when I found NT in 2006.

Drought's ongoing. I see a lot of Timberwolves optimism typed white onto a black background and I need a time or two to adapt here

In 2/3 seasons they will be a power in the West. Spurs big three will be gone. CP3 will be 33 or 34. KD and Russ might also be split up. Jazz have potential also. They need scorers.

I'm not buying the hype. Timberwolves have always been horrible. Wiggins and the rook won't change a thing.

Not sure about the Spurs big 3 being gone. I been wanting for them to fall off since 2009. They are still dragging San Antonio to 50 wins and chips kicking and screaming. :smh:

CP3 might be showing his age this season.

I don't see KD and Russ leaving.

No comment on the Jazz since I don't watch any of thier games.

There's always light. My team once had Swaggy P, Andre Blatche and Javale McGee on it at the same time. Meanwhile our star player was doing this

Making fun of a beef with this guy, who was also on the team.

Can we all agree that chris Paul has more than enough help to win a championship and if he doesn't make it to the conference finals this year he gets bumped down to the mike Conley dame lillard tier of average pgs?

I wouldn't get the optimism lift you too high. The peak of your franchise has been one WCF berth.

I mean you had wiggins this year and could only muster up 16 wins. Usually #1 draft picks improve the team.

I would even go lower than that

He'll always be top 5 per and you can't take that away from him

This has crossed my mind more than a few times. It's something to think about. There was an expected drop-off with Love leaving and his 26p and 13r averages going with him. There was little Rubio and K.Martin, Pekovic missed 51 games, Thaddeus-Mo-C.Brew were all traded away in deadline deals. But it's definitely something to think about.

But there's, you know, I think Durant won 20 games give or take his first two seasons (he's a first overall pick if defined as transforming which is how we're talking about it I suppose)

Wall missed like 10 games or something his rookie year but they won somewhere around 20 too I believe. Thought it might be intresting to check AD because I couldn't remember how bad or just average the Pels were his rookie year. 27.

Those are still different than 16 though I know. Every team goes through injuries but when you add the drop off, in the present tense, from Kevin Love, the team's best player in 2013-14 to a rookie, albeit the No. 1 pick, there's not a whole ton you can do. We'll see. 2016-17 is huge for Wiggins and 2017-18 is huge for Towns. Year 3s.

LeBron and it's not even close. If the question was who'd I'd draft first AD because he's younger. AD gotta win a playoff series first damn.

LeBron
Durant
Curry
Davis

Five is either Harden's or Westbrook's unless I'm forgetting somebody. 3 and 4 will be fun and interchangeable pretty soon.
