Trying to use "6 seed" as a testament to them not being great is a stupid argument when they still had one of the best records in the league.

1st round exit is a stupid argument as well when they took the "higher" seed to 7 games and lose at the buzzer.

Didn't say it didn't count but I'm calling it how I see it. Acknowledging another team's success won't degrade whatever past accomplishments the Lakers franchise had.
