Wait....... Adidas did what? They're really about to have a higher Sig line payroll than Nike. For shoes that no one's gonna buy.

St John's made that milly possibleThe split depended on your career resume but the players worked out their terms amoung themselves prior to the 1st game of the TBT. Guys like Mike Sweetney, DeMar Johnson, Larry Owens, etc. that had brief NBA careers would've received about 100K had their teams won whereas a player who is an overseas journeyman got 50-60K.
Another factor was how many players and coaches were on ur team. Overseas Elite has about 8 players and 2 coaches. I think their head coach won about 35K.
Next year they're gonna up the prize to 2 Million winner take all. Pretty sure this tournament is gonna start adding bigger name players going forward after this weekends successful turn out.
was this a week long tournament?
Nah, it started in June with 97 teams and single elimination. So Overseas Elite and Team 23 ended up playing 7 games total including the championship.
Work a month and possibly end up with 50K+ if ur squad wins, not too bad IMO.
We need to get Team Niketalk out there for next season
