I've never understood why people get upset when others disagree with them, on the legitimacy their favorite player.
All players will have their detractors, but it seems as if those who are doing the protecting, really do not have anything else in their lives to defend and protect.
I read many comments here, and some of them come off as informed, plenty mediocre, and then others come off downright stupid.
Get in where you fit in.

LeBron versus San Antonio this year, and he wins.
Durant is serious this season.
Rose will surprise many.
Teams will begin to play Steph really physical, Detroit style.
Dwight Howard is going to return to big man prominence.

The Lakers are going to have the most interesting locker room in the NBA, possibly in all of sports.

5 and Diamond in Harlem, Shrimp and Grits, beautiful people of color.

I see a Clippers OKC western conference finals.
Cleveland will cruise through to the finals
Bucks will take a step forward and compete for a top 4 spot in the east
Atlanta will take a step back
Toronto will be mediocre and the GM will pull come magic

We will hear too much of the Lakers in the media.
AD will begin to show signs of frustrations with the Pelicans organization and the way they are run
Pacers will not be so good

Baring injury, Okafor will be leading the rookie race for the majority of the season.

Embid is an insuranxe IF he gets back to form. If he's done, 76er won't be at a lost bc they already got two good big men.

what? They used the 3rd overall pick to get him. Of course it would be a huge loss. They didn't get him in the 2nd round.

And as if the Sixers are talented enough to lose a guy like him without hurting?

James Harden says Lawson is as focused as ever.

 Cheers and salute, *slams down shot glass

man i hope

Ty had me  when he said he did not want GSW to win cause of there lightskiness so that motivation is strong

Official surgery date for Embiid

Joel Embiid will have a second surgery on his right foot Tuesday, according to sources.

Embiid is expected to miss the entire 2015-16 season.

Embiid was the No. 3 overall selection in the 2014 NBA draft and missed his rookie season after having surgery in June 2014 to repair a stress fracture in the foot.

Embiid last played with the University of Kansas during the 2013-14 season.

I just saw that article with Jimmy Butler saying there's no rift with him and Rose but he feels like his position is point guard and he told the new coach that  I've never seen one bit of Butler looking like a point guard.

Yeah all that is facts. What also is facts is that they also picked Noel and Hill to play that position, even to replace Embiid if he was to be done for the rest of his life. Know what I mean? Of Embiid comes back to form, great!! But if he doesn't, 76er won't be in such a state where they'll have to find the next man up to "replace" Embiid when that void is filled alrwady. Making Embiid expandable insurance.

Jimmy Butler is buggin the eff out lol.

He's a good player, not selfish by any means, but he gets tunnel vision sometimes. That's the opposite of what you want your pg to do

Never seen anything to indicate he could be a good pg

He's a good wingman. Why isn't that enough? Why would you campaign for pg when you have Derrick Rose on the roster?

Shades of Kobe being interviewed that one summer where he said why should he have to tail his game off when he's been adding new skills

Seems like Butler aint about to take a back seat
