KD would be a fool to stay in OKC. Russ is gone folks. He's going to LA to be the next Laker great. Where he belongs. If KD doesn't come to DC to hell with em. Stay in OKC during and post career. DMC will come and reunite with Wall and we'll be good anyway.

Phil has always been prone to saying dumb **** . . . even when he was winning chips with the Bulls and Lakers (though I think it was worse when he was with the Lakers).

he's in the east, that might get him in alone if the wizards have a good enough record

Maybe I should say perennial all-star  . A lot of guys have made it in the past and have yet to touch another all-star game. So, he may can crack an all-star game if the Wiz win enough games, but not a perennial all-star.

I'd agree if he was in the west.. but who is filling out the 4-5 guard spots on the east side?

kyrie.. wall.. the walking deads (rose and wade)

just the last game had lowry, Teague and korver (they listed korver as a guard).. to go along with wall, kyrie, butler and wade

harden
klay
jimmy
wade
beal

why cant beal be considered a star but all the other players can, because "hes only 22"?

all the top 5 centers are considered star players

Beal is good, but the guys ahead of him are just better than him in most things.

Harden is of course a better scorer, more elite ball handler and creator. Klay is a much better shooter (which is considered Beal's strength) and a better defender. Jimmy is a better 2 way player overall, better ball handler. Wade is on the decline, but still had a better season last season than Beal.

Beal has yet to even accumulate a PER over 15 in his first 3 seasons while the other guys are in the 20+ range. Outside of the top 10 at his position in both ORPM, DRPM and #10 at his position in WAR. Struggling to shoot above 42% during the season and has health issues. TS% is nott good, either. Of course, these numbers don't tell everything, but he still has a little ways to go. He is only 22 years old, so its not like he's in bad shape or something  . I just don't think he's on their level yet.

I saw Derozan name being brought up. Although, I don't think he's a "true" all-star, you could put him in the same boat as Beal. Maybe Monta makes it since he's in the East now. Middleton is another guy to possibly watch out for.

Need the season to start now. Tired of rehashing the same season story lines and lipstick NT. I'm guilt ly of it too. Smh

not really.. if the position is weak, it's weak.. you don't get called a star just because you are top 5 at a weak position

there is no quota that needs to be filled.. either you make the cut or your dont

they really need to do away with the conference structure at least for the reserves.. it's a shame that we have to scrap for names to fill the spots in the east, when you got your dude conley stuck at home because of how deep the west is

I'm sorry, Wade isn't allowed in the top5 though.

Skill set yea, probably still #2 behind Harden.

He's just not going to play often enough. He just can't be on any list, I don't care if it's not my list. He's not on mine or anybody's. Take him off those lists NOW.

Wade is top 3 at his position.

its crazy how rudy gay and monta never been all stars

very underrated players

Josh Smith should've been an all star about 2x by now.

Monte and Rudy only have 1 year where they were really playing at an all star level in the west.

If they were putting up those #'s in the east. They'd most likely be an all star. Hell, Evan turner and Aaron Afflalo were almost all stars in the East a few years ago.
