there's no way Cavs offered TT 80 mill, right? there's def no way TT is stupid enough to turn that down, right?
From the rumors and reports, that's exactly what happened

TT was listening to NT who was hyping him up to get a max contract because he had LeBron's agent

Stacey Augmon and Greg Anthony as the bookends to the bench.. team was too LIT :pimp:

Bonzi would bully Kobe on the block all day.. that series should have turned out different :smh:

Kobe to Shaq though>>>>>

Man, he would straight up abuse Kobe on the block. Whenever they needed a basket Bonzi would go straight to the block. But the irony of not getting at least one basket in that game seven of the WCF.

Completely forgot Detlef was on that Blazers team. Damn, that squad really was loaded. But for one really awful quarter at exactly the wrong time, they probably have a ring.

Detlef came back when someone got injured, the Blazers pulled him out of semi - retirement. It was agreed upon it was just supposed to be a temporary thing. But when the player came back he didn't want to leave. Caused alot of issues because he was taking minutes. (can't remember who the injured player was though.)

Best team I played on! Practice was sometimes harder than the game! #tbt#

Sabonis :pimp:  That was my Dad's guy

Still only 23 and honestly, bad coaching has attributed to him not breaking out like he should.

Casey doesn't know how to play to his strengths at all.
I'm still wondering why Casey is still there

meh, kobe and shaq washed every version of that portland team. especially the pippen era. they were hella food.

bonzi ca haaa dat,
dat aint eem what I'm mad at...

it was rueben's fault. Kobe looked at him like 'you did this. you did it. now you gotta explain it to your team'

People who saw Sabonis play in his prime in Europe talk about him on some playground legend status. Like a 7'3" beast on the block with guard skills and athleticism. Its hard to believe when you think of how he played when he got to the NBA, but I've heard multiple people say stuff like that.

Breh, it's other NBA players also saying the same thing. When he came over to the US his knees were gone

He really was all of that though.

The problem was that his National team and European squads ran him into the ground.

He played on a torn achillies, suffered that injury twice. Then he developed chronic knee and leg problems because he was compensating for it.

This is all 5+ years before he came to the league and he was still the best player in the world that wasn't in the NBA.

When the Blazers first brought him over, their physician said that he had the body of a senior citizen and would medically be eligible for a handicap parking space.

AND he still somehow played productively in the league.

All the NBA players that played against him in his prime say he was the best player they've seen never play in the league.
