Isn't he from the Portland area too? Never really figured them as a destination for him, but it makes sense.

Especially when they just picked up Timo's option for next season as well.

Love may have looked at the big man log jam and said, i'm out. Signs to somewhere for a two year deal with a player option for the 2nd, opts out of that deal after next season, and restructures his deal with that team, relative to the new cap and his performance from this upcoming season.

If Love and Thompson both return, you've got a serious logjam. You'd be paying Varejao a lot of money to be your 4th big.

Word, man. Paying two players a lot of money who play the same position just does not make sense.

Thompson and Love both can't be there long term.

TT is signed to Bron's agency, is friends with him, was apart of the Finals run and fits perfect with Bron.


Love been aloof, was oft injured and never really became comfortable in the offense with Kyrie and Bron.
