Just another quick not about Enes Kanter.

The pairing of Kanter and Ibaka gave up 110 points per 100.

Also, there really aren't any positive combinations that include Kanter.

I think none, actually.
Yep. Just saying, I don't see OKC winning because of Kanter in the playoffs. I'm positive he will not be apart of their best lineups. Not saying they cannot win with Kanter on the roster

. It just defeats the purpose of them giving him all this money when they can do just fine and probably go all the way without him because of Adams and Ibaka. If Adams or Ibaka gets injured, then your defense will suck regardless of Kanter being on the floor or another big. I also don't think Kanter will be the big difference maker if Adams or Ibaka went down.

Basically, Kanter puts up these big numbers, but doesn't really contribute to winning. He may change and work his **** off defensively, though.
the point I'm making is having all of those guys (mainly ibaka, adams, kanter and mcgary.. and also collision).. when kanter is out you have adams out there.. both guys should be able to get 20+ mins

if kanter is getting abused on defense, you have adams.. adams gets in foul trouble, you have kanter.. could even play them together

Sources: If Mavs miss on DeAndre Jordan, it's expected talks with Indiana on Monta Ellis-Roy Hibbert centered sign-and-trade will happen

From Woj's Ed Davis article:

The Davis' agreement allows the Blazers to maintain flexibility on still re-signing All-Star free agent LaMarcus Aldridge and starting center Robin Lopez.

The Blazers still have a team option of $5 million on center Chris Kaman's contract that it could waive to clear space.

If Aldridge leaves in free agency, Davis gives them a power forward to move into the starting lineup. With Aldridge, he becomes a significant rotation player on a contending team. The Blazers plan has been to try to re-sign Lopez, should Aldridge decide to return to Portland.

Davis' deal continues a reshaping of the Blazers roster that includes adding Brooklyn Nets center Mason Plumlee, young Charlotte Hornets forward Noah Vonleh and guard Gerald Henderson. General manager Neil Olshey is walking the delicate line between preparing for a rebuild without Aldridge, or moving directly back into contention with Aldridge returning to anchor the team.

"Basketball reasons" is the gift that keeps on giving...at least for people other than Lakers fans and, apparently, Lakers players.

About the Sixers trade, this was the first move in three years that actually made the team better! This is the come up!

2026 Championship here we come!

I understand, but paying him maximum level money when his impact is negated due to his poor defense? If that's what they are comfortable with, so be it. I think Ibaka, Adams, McGary and Collison is enough depth up front to do whatever OKC wants considering they play a lot of small ball.

OKC's depth next year though :x

Augustine, Morrow, Payne, Singler, Adams, McGary, Roberson, Novak. Just need their main guys to stay healthy.

Waiters... :rolleyes

I bet they agree on a deal before someone offers him the max.

He'd be nice to have but isn't a must to contend if you ask me.

Somebody may offer him the max and may end up getting him.

I'm cool with whatever happens.

Just ready to fan whichever team the FO puts out, with him under max, at max or not even on the roster.

Thunder Up

Trading Stauskus seriously is a headscratcher especially this early in his career.... however if the Kings make the playoffs next year, and all signs point towards that being their ultimate goal, then this trade is worth it....
