This time last week many were lauding the Lakers for going with Russell, the future of the league and laughing at the Knicks for drafting Porzingis. Now we got the Lakers with their antiquated approach to free agency and waiting for the stars to reject them while doing nothing (on the surface at least) while the Knicks have covered their bases signing second tier guys, building a real team.
