Deandre's first legitimate post move came in the 'Up and Under' he gave to the Mavs' front office.

Sorry man, Sneaker, you my dude but ya'll got played.

Although, I never thought Deandre would've been that much of a difference maker for you guys anyway. If Dirk was prime Dirk though...then it would've been MUCH worse.

Just think of it like this, Warriors were trying to get Deandre a few years back but missed out and it worked out for them.

Hmmm, Parsons reaction is to call DJ scared and not ready to accept the challenge.

Meanwhile, Blake, when DJ told him he was signing with Dallas, said he was happy if DJ was happy.

Life comes at you fast, as you guys like to say.

My how peoples true colors show.

Mind you I fully understand Parsons frustrations. But Blake could have equally felt the same way but didn't.

DJ - this all could have been handled better with one simple call, at the very least.

What gripe would Blake have? He didn't tell the Clippers he was resigning with them then sign with the Mavs, it's a completely different scenario.. he went back on his word.

First post move? This the same guy that was gonna avg 20/20 and did not need CP3 or Blake to do so?

Clippers fans tried to tell you guys he was a censored boy last week but you guys said they were just scorned exes. Make up your minds. DJ did.

I was just about to say this..

If DJ met with Dallas and told them he was still uneasy about the decision, I'm sure Cuban and Parsons would have respected that. Its not the first time Cuban missed out on a FA. I guarantee you if DJ turned around and told Blake and co last night he changed his mind, blows would commence in that house

completely different scenario, yes. But he's losing a valuable teammate. Teammates can't be upset when another one leaves?

I'm fine with letting Kantner walk. That boy Mitch is ready.

It'd be possible if we were in the East

Even in the East, they'd have an uphill battle.

Cavs
Heat
Bulls
Bucks
Hawks
Raptors
Wizards

All clearly better than the Lakers. Celtics, Magic, Hornets, Pacers all potentially could be better.

no blows would have occurred. Who on that clipper roster would throw their hands at DJ? Pierce would have just said deuces.

Not if it's through regular Free Agency, not that ******** DeAndra pulled. Get outta here with that, people leave in FA all the time.. only difference is MOST of them don't tell other teams they'll be going there only to back out with 9 hours remaining on the signing date.

No, unless that player tells his team he's not going to leave.

DJ had every opportunity to do what LMA did. I got on LMA during his process because it took him so long, but I definitely respect him a lot more from a professional standpoint than DJ. Maybe LMA didn't have to meet with teams twice, but he wanted to be SURE and he got that assurance by doing that. He could've easily went out and signed an offer sheet with SAS on the 1st day, but he had a lot to think about.

completely think DJ was an idiot in this case. No arguments here. He could have cut the hate in half with one simple call/meeting. He deserves it.

We all know they wont be doing that, hence why if they plan on "competing" why I posted would be the best thing for them to do.

i think Cuban is secretly hoping Wes "decommits." He couldnt possibly pull that offer from him, after what happened.

And why hasnt Wes signed? Is he looking elsewhere?

I guess Cuban not going to keep his word then  . It'll be in their best interest IMO. COMPETE during Dirk's last year once he pick up that player option. You have another shot at free agency with even more money. They could even clear more cap by moving Wes Matthews for expirings if he's not playing as well.

if the 2012-13 Mavs can go .500, whatever team they put on the court this season will compete for the 8th seed

Chris Kaman started at C for christ's sake
