I just think its hilarious that someone that is a Mavs fan on Niketalk can say me of all people hates the Mavs.

When they **** up they **** up. Ain't no point in sugarcoating it.

We've had a nice run the last 15 but we've failed in every way since the championship.

We finally had the formula and we blew it up to chase dudes that spurned us and ain't emm that good in the first place.
I don't know you like that man... i don't have an archive of your past posts

just going off what we've talked about the past few days thats all ....

that's what I respect about what he's done.... even with the turnaround, the teams have been competitive

he's taken some chances and missed ... but 2 Finals in 10 seasons isn't bad for a revolving door of talent

esp since basically the same 5 teams keep winning the chip

have the Heat really held a core together for 3 plus seasons aside from the Big Three? srs question...
Wade, Haslem, Birdman, Rio were are there before The Big Three and after, and all play important roles. I consider that a core.

Cuban realized this worked by trying to bring back Tyson, JJ Barea, and Devin Harris, but it was past its time.

Kantner? Man, let that dude walk. He is the worst defender at his position since he has been in the league. Mitch can do all the things Kantner did while on rookie scale. We need to be playing more smallball anyways with Kevin and Serge at the 4-5, provided of course that Ibaka returns to form

You won a championship 4 years ago and the world is ending

cmon man my team is good once every 10 years.
10 years ago Herb Williams was coaching Starbury, Kurt Thomas, and Vin Baker to a 33 win season

Exactly my point

I wonder why the Lakers didn't offer Kanter the max?

Not that I wanted them to

Let SneakerPro delve in his misery.
We got an able body for close money and we complain.

Real talk though, itsaboutime the only OKC Fan that rolls with the punches, the rest are GM's that should be employees immediately in the FO
Altransta (excuse the misspell G) seems ok too.

Dirk, Marion, and JET are every bit as much of a core as that "core", no?

Trust, I am far from a Presti fan. Dude has been on some extra ******** the last season though, somewhat abandoning his "formula" and "Thunder type of guys" mantra to take random whiffs like signing Dion Waiters who Cleveland was begging to give away and is fundamentally the exact opposite of everything a "Thunder tyoe of guy" is, but even more importantly sucks. And to give away a pick to do AND break our luxury tax virginity.

Don't even get me started on Josh Huestis and Jerrett Grant.

Dude is a weirdo. Saw him at PF Chang's with his wife getting takeout, he drives like a 95 Tahoe, **** was black but ashy as hell. He just sat in the truck fiddling with the radio (was listening to like Newt Gingrich or some equally worked up news broadcast) while his wife went in to get the food

If kanter lets up more point then he scores it kinda defeats the purpose.

Or you don't remember a few season ago where Kyrie was letting up more points then he scored and assited in combined ?

I only remember your avy
I see your Avy and only think of one thing...
You playing dude on a $20 Funko Pop, *shrugs

Not even coming at you because you seemed cool and we are OKC but....you are upset that he broke his Luxury Tax virginity?. Have I not heard you complain about him holding the same virginity sacred.

But you are clowning Presti's wheels now, his 95 Tahoe? Man bruh, bruh, bruh, come on now bruh, come on man. NO.

You are acting brand new or something because you actually met him. Man, just NO.

It's a core, but it didn't last long. After the championship, JJ Barea, Caron Bulter, Tyson Chandler, Jason Kidd, DeShawn Stevenson, Peja Stojakovic, and Corey Brewer all left that offseason. JET, Brian Cardinal, & Ian Mahinmi that next season. That's everyone except 3 players one year removed from a championship.

That's not a consistent way to win.

keeping tyson, deshawn and brewer would've made sense, but everyone else was past their prime. jj got paid. can't blame cuban for switching it up. tyson is the only really regrettable loss.

we started off talking about the 2-3 year roster turnaround in general, since Dirk has been here... not just the since the 2011 Championship

I think Cuban has tried to do a lot for Dirk, but I feel that it has hurt him.

Every 2-3 the whole Mavs roster looks completely different. Then Cuban has a fetish of signing players off the championship squad.

Great franchises (Spurs, Lakers, Heat, etc.) let the core play for extended year, and retool here and there. For the Mavs, players 2-8 change on a consistent bases.

Cuban goes after the BIG FISH so much, that he fails to retain other key pieces.
so, from the above post the Mavs core applies every bit as much as the so-called great Miami Heat.... from 2006 until Lebron came their roster got overhauled and they could barely stay above water

the Mavs since that 2006 Finals did nothing but keep making the Playoffs in the West... after the 2011 Finals they missed the Playoffs once, barely, and have been back every year since

I don't think the Heat qualify as a great franchise based on the 3 seasons they had the best player in the world and 2 other All-Stars....

now, if they start winning rings in the next few seasons then sure.... but if they just making Playoff runs then how are they any better than the Mavs
