cuban seemed to always try to get decent players around dirk to get wins... some teams cant say that about...

I want yall to name me an all time great in the last 20 whose had less talent around him for their careers than Dirk.

For the record I love Cuban but the biggest thing he did was throw money that the problem instead of investing in solid team building.

In the last 15 years how many young players or pieces have the Mavs drafted.

The truth of the matter is he went after these big name free agents and totally ignored what it would take to actually get one them.

Every time one of them actually changes teams(which was rare) there was always a young star there for the FA to play with.

He tried to jump in that **** with a 33 year old Dirk.

I just think its hilarious that someone that is a Mavs fan on Niketalk can say me of all people hates the Mavs.

When they **** up they **** up. Ain't no point in sugarcoating it.

We've had a nice run the last 15 but we've failed in every way since the championship.

If healthy, I can see them making a run to the ECF.

East gonna be LIT next season

I agree, and I'm not even a Heat fan, but they are making some quality moves that give them some depth and allows their core players to get rest during games, and even allows for Wade to take his customary mid-season "injury rest", and I wouldn't be surprised if they went to the ECF. And it is about time that some of the teams in the East became legit,  to me the league is better when certain teams are competitive. Just my two pennies.

Re-signed Milsap and acquired Splitter in trade. That's all I'm aware of.

Trade Dirk to the Spurs for cap relief (on my phone so can't even see if we have the space but I think we do cause Manu hasn't signed yet) and then Tank. Do it Cuban free Dirk! Don't let him go out like this. Do the right thing.

Definitely. If the Pacers, Heat, and Hornets can get back on track along with the Bucks continuing to progress, the East should be in good shape next year.
