Because he's probably not going to be the last man in their bench. You don't sign a 15th man in free agency typically. Those are usually the ones that have to make the squad through training camp like he did in Golden State.

If the Mavs are running a PF/C combo of Dirk and Zaza, DJ should go for 20 and 20 regardless of whether any plays are run for him. He did it against the, once last season.

he had a monster 20 20 game against us last year when all his buddies were down. Our big men situation has gotten even worse than last year with ty. Very possible

Nah this season is worse. 2012-13 still featured a tail end prime Dirk who you could still build around. You can't build around this version of Dirk.

Parsons and Wessy are babies.... two nice pieces to build a team around

that 2012 team was basically a team put together by picking squads at the park or gym 

no one cared about each other... no chemistry... just collecting checks

it was rough watching that team

people don't give Cuban enough credit for putting respectable teams on the floor every year..... sure, may not be Championship contenders, but that's better than taking the 76er route IMO.... 

This is the NBA, one great player who is a leader on and off the court and you should never be awful unless said player gets hurt.

Til this day Monta Ellis is the best scorer Dirk has played with in his career.

Dirk has been carrying this franchise in every conceivable way for 15 years. If you want to give Cuban credit for sticking with him I'd agree but let us be cereal.

Monta is no slouch on the offensive end. He averaged 19 for you guys and missed 2 games in 2 years. 

Why is NO a lock for the playoffs? Don't remember them getting AD much help.
