Upshaw was kicked off for team violations, reportedly substance abuse, etc Also was red-flagged with a heart issue, still looking into that. Obviously the Lakers are having a SIGNIFICANT problem getting a center via free agents - counting Upshaw as the savior is not likely answer. That said, Upshaw has worked with Coach John Lucas I believe, and is hoping to put the past behind and make something of himself in NBA.

Trading Stauskus seriously is a headscratcher especially this early in his career.... however if the Kings make the playoffs next year, and all signs point towards that being their ultimate goal, then this trade is worth it....

Phoenix has traded Marcus Morris, Reggie Bullock and Danny Granger to Detroit for future picks, league sources tell Yahoo Sports. The Pistons will send the Suns a 2020 second-round draft pick. So yes, the Suns are clearing salary cap space.

Mavs and Suns are questionable at this point depending on how the rest of their free agency go. Deandre goes back to LAC, LMA goes to SAS then I don't see the Suns making it at all.
