The nba stats are very consistent. You don't fall off, and fall hard, and come back and play much better. But whats decent? 14 pts, 6 assists?

desparation. They need to sign somebody. This will be two years where they completely whiffed. I can see them give him a 1 year deal just to make sure Kobe is somewhat tolerable with the young crew he's surrounded with

Salary is a big factor on whether someone is "washed" though. If there were no cap, it wouldn't matter.

Devon fell off the face of the earth. You don't see that in the NBA. It wasn't a slow fall off either.
