But with the CBA coming due and that TV money...

$20M might for 20 ppg 10 APG might not be such a bad contract, ya know?

Side note: what is this dude's wingspan?!

Arms look like he can scratch his knees standing straight up

From Reggie Jackson?

Look at yall'
Ether
You found the worst cosigners you could have got though Fontaine, they all have bad credit. Marcus PG CB, all of them.

"basically" and "for 2 months"

Aint 20 & 10.

I just don't see it not really a fan of dude, maybe he proves me wrong tho.

he wouldn't be too far off with that. granted there was no brandon jennings, reggie was close to being a 20/10apg PG last season with the pistons. gonna be interesting to see how he plays with jennings back. definitely going to effect his numbers considering both dudes need the ball.

nevertheless, I'm not mad that NBA players are getting paid well, and in some cases "overpaid" according to NT. at the end of the day, even if owners have to dip into the luxury tax, they're all billionaires and can afford it. i'm sure the same goes for the cellar-dwelling teams. with the new TV contracts, teams are going to be generating a filthy amount of money for owners.

One thing I cannot stand about fans...

They ALWAYS want players to take paycuts.

I'm not the biggest Kobe fan by any stretch... But anyone saying he shouldn't have signed the deal that they OFFERED is a moron.

We always want athletes with 15 year careers MAX to take less... So billionaires can save money?

Lolwut

Spreewell probably somewhere kickin himself for being born into the wrong era of basketball contracts.

speaking of which, imagine if this type of money was being doled out decades ago. we already know what type of contracts players like MJ, barkley, Shaq, hakeem would have commanded, but I wonder what type of money role players like nick anderson, rodman, or kukoc would have received

I used to believe in that paycut nonsense too.

Better take all that money they throw at you unless you really at peace with your earnings or still got valuable years left.

Only player that has gotten "overpaid" so far is Asik.

I still don't like the contract the Suns gave Ty Chandler either. Not so much the amount per year, but the length. 4 years for him at this stage in his career is too long.

Really all that needed to be said.

I'm all for guys getting paid i just don't see him being worth it, but i'll never be upset about young black dudes making millions.

it's not so the owner can save money, it's so the team can add another asset.

AMD turn around and get bashed for making a "super team" because "Jordan, bird, and magic would've never teamed up!"

nobody would take less at their job so Shirleen in Accounting can make more money.

Salary caps are SOOOO fluid in the way you can get people underneath them, luxury taxes, etc...

In regards to that Kobe Contract, say what you want, but they STILL had room for another max player.
