his touches excuse holds not that much merit tbh
he got intentionally fouled so many times and bricked many of those free throws
he got all the touches he wants, he just couldn't convert them

I'm agreeing with comptonprince making up excuses about wanting to be more involved in the offense sits better with the media than saying I can't stand the Lil cry baby. His role anywhere else won't be bigger offensively but he won't have a Gnat in his ear critiquing every single thin g he does and telling him what to do.

Basically. None of the other reasons he's given really hold up. Touches? Not really. Future prospects of the team? Nope. I deluded myself into thinking there wasn't a problem. But clearly there was. Oh well. It is what it is now.

According to NBA.com's player data, the Clippers were actually noticeably worse when Jordan was off the floor (-3.5 points per 4 than when his more heralded frontcourt partner, Griffin, was absent (-1.4). But internal value aside, Jordan was, more importantly, a member of a trio that was the NBA's 7th most productive three-man lineup in the entire league (minimum: 1,500 minutes).
