Clippers are must see TV now more than ever. Truth will tell us all about it once he retires. Can't wait for that interview.

With Deandre picking the Mavs Tyson could have been signed and traded to the Clippers

They would probably paid him more because that scenario is the only way they could get a decent center if DJ left.

Chandler would have to take a pay cut of about 2 mil in a sign and trade scenario. Clips can match DJ's outgoing salary....$11.4 mil

Chandler is getting 13 mil with the Suns.

All moot points.

No disrespect but you have no idea what you are talking about

Tyson chandler seems like a quiet yes man who does whatever he's told and cp3 k ows better than to raise his voice or criticize d west

"When a team re-signs its own early bird right or bird right free agent as part of a sign-and trade deal, and his new contract comes with over a 20% raise with, and signing him puts the original team over the cap, the trade rules are different. Jordan is the Clippers bird right free agent, in this scenario he is being signed as part of a S&T deal, his new contract comes with almost a 100% raise, not just 20%, and after signing him the Clippers would be over the cap. Therefore, this applies. The rule states that when these criteria are met, the player's salary for trade purposes is either his previous salary or 50% of his new salary, whichever is greater. $11.4 million, DJ's old salary, is greater than half of his new max, meaning that in any sign-and-trade deal, the Clippers have to match incoming salary to DJ's outgoing salary number of $11.4 million, not his actual salary of $20.7 million. DeAndre's incoming salary reflects his actual max number, meaning the Mavericks would need to have that space available to pay him. Fortunately, that number fits almost perfectly into Tyson Chandler's cap hold."

So Cleveland's luxury-tax bill zooms to $104 mil -- on top of a $116 million payroll -- if they do the Joe Johnson trade? #seemsreasonable

Lebby making Gilbert pay for his comic-sans rant.

This is only if you traded Tyson for Deandre straight up.

Salary filler could have been used to get Tyson what he wanted.

I don't even think Tyson thought DJ would go to Dallas because I'm willing to bet good money if he knew going to the Clips was on the table he would have went there

This doesnt include LeBrons deal either I believe, I think his cap hold factors in, but he's gonna get more than that anyways.

Dont quote me on any of this.
