Kobe is 10speed.
I agree with this. My tyrant line was sarcasm directed at Mamba MVP if that wasn't clear. Not directed at ska. I support him cleaning up the thread.
Well that leaves us
Well, Why would PP opt out if he was returning to the wizards?
PP update
Paul Pierce is "definitely" playing next season and plans to pass on his player option with the Washington Wizards which is valued at $5.54 million, a source told ESPN.com's Marc Stein.
The question is which team Pierce will play for. According to a report in the Washington Post, Pierce will either return to the Wizards or join the Los Angeles Clippers to be reunited with his former head coach Doc Rivers.
Paul Pierce will be back for an 18th season and play for either the Wizards or Clippers.
The Clippers can acquire Pierce by offering him the taxpayer mid-level exception worth slightly less than $3.4 million. Washington will be able to offer Pierce a new deal starting in excess of $6 million once he opts out.

Unless he's trying to get a longer deal with the Wiz, I'm not too sure
Well, Why would PP opt out if he was returning to the wizards?
And that's the thing, I don't know at this stage of his career why he would be trying to structure a longer deal, I just don't see it. It's not like he can restructure for more money either, given his age. I think doc pulled the trigger on the lance deal with an agreement w/Paul regarding him coming to LA.

I think there is a huge chance he ends his career back at home with Doc. I hope it happens, I think it's the perfect fit for both parties. Lance can go to the bench and they would really only need to sign a 3rd big man to become a complete team. No more excuses about their roster if PP signs
Doc Rivers | LAC
(June 19, 2015 10:14 AM EDT)
Doc Rivers implied during a recent interview that former owner Donald Sterling killed some good trades that the Clippers had lined up during his first year in the front office.
"This is really only my third year but you can make a case this is our second year if you know what I’m saying," said Rivers. "If I someday wrote a book and told you a couple of the trades we had in the first year that we didn’t do because of other reasons, you would fall off your chair." Luckily for Rivers, the Clippers fan base, and the NBA in general, Sterling will never be a part of any NBA decision making process ever again.
