That Hyperize commercial :wow: I haven't seen that in awhile.

Who would've thought anybody outside of KD would have a chance at a Finals MVP?

 at rashard being the only cat in that video with a ring. still remember my jaw dropping when the magic threw that contract at him...."WHAT ARE YOU DOING" immediately came to mind

Man.. Going love not seeing Scotty on the sidelines.. Or hearing those motivating words when they show the coach talk during games
League rules don't allow the broadcasts to show anything but motivational talk. They edit out the Xs and Os. Although, it might be for the best that we never heard that stuff lol.

What's the word on Kanter though? Shouldn't something have been mentioned by now?
Well, Presti and Kanter sat down early in free agency this year...

Its well known that Kanter wants the max,

had he been offered the max, we'd have reports that he agreed to it.

Also, since Kanter is restricted,

nobody is going to seriously make an offer to him until the moratorium ends...

If OKC holds out, Kanter may just accept the QO since no one else is going to give him max money. That would be the best thing OKC could do. Gives them another year with Kanter without committing long term to him.

In honor of my boy @Dlee042 taking the next step in his career, this is how we started our relationship! Love you bro

pretty hard to dislike the dude wardell right now

Didn't have a chance to say this when the deal was announced, but Lee is a nice pick-up for Boston. They're an interesting team. Not a contender by any stretch, but solid playoff team in the East. I'm actually looking forward to checking out some of their games next season.

Wonder where Suullinger will wind up now.

Yeah,

that's the most likely thing to happen at this point.

Sucks that they wouldn't be able to flip him for an asset.

well we got a couple contracts to flip before the deadline, so that'll be interesting..

novak and dj are expiring.. then pj3 and waiters will be restricted

but if payne plays well, could see us moving DJ and picking up someone cheap for the 3rd pg spot.. or bring up semaj christon

Hornets P.J. Hairston cited for driving with revoked license in third legal issue in as many years

For a third consecutive summer, Hornets guard P.J. Hairston is facing legal trouble.

Hairston was cited near midnight on June 18 for driving with a revoked license, speeding, driving left of center and driving on expired tags.

According to the citation, Hairston’s 2015 black Cadillac Escalade was traveling at 51 mph in a 35 mph zone on Pinebrook Drive heading toward Freedom Drive. The tags were expired and his vehicle went more than half its width over the double yellow line for 25-30 yards, according to a Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police officer N.S. Bush in his report.

Hairston’s court date is set for July 27 in Mecklenburg County.

A spokesman for Hornets did not have an immediate comment but said the team is still gathering information.

Hairston’s issues go back to the summer of 2013, when he was arrested for a misdemeanor marijuana possession and driving without a license.

Those charges were dismissed after Hairston provided proof of a license and took a drug assessment course. But in that year, Hairston had various off-court issues, some of which cost him his NCAA eligibility at North Carolina and forced him into the NBA Development League.

Last summer, just less than two weeks after the he was selected 26th overall in the 2014 NBA draft, Hairston was charged with misdemeanor assault and battery after he was involved in an altercation at a Durham YMCA with a 17-year-old during a pickup game.

That charge was eventually dropped by the Durham DA.

“There are concerns always when there have been things in the past,” Hornets coach Steve Clifford said the day after the 2014 draft. “But we did a ton of intel on all of these guys. Not one guy making one call.

“If we weren’t comfortable he can be a dependable, efficient NBA player, we wouldn’t have taken him so high.”

Hairston, though, has not been an efficient NBA player. He shot 30.1 percent from 3-point range in his rookie season and just 32.3 percent from the field. He had 22 turnovers to 21 assists and averaged 5.6 points in 15.3 minutes per game.

He hasn’t fared much better in the summer league in recent weeks. He’s shot below 30 percent from the field and made just three of 17 3-point attempts. Hairston suffered a shoulder contusion during Tuesday’s win against the Nets and did not return to the game.

In the officer comments section of the June 18 report, Hairston “advised his dog ate” something before the comments are cut off.

Enh,

Kanter is the most attractive as an asset.

Could have been moved to strengthen the wing rotation.

Plus, I personally would like to have a squad together when training camp begins.

PJIII has no value, and I honestly believe nobody wants Waiters.

I don't see how Presti could witness THJR traded for a first round pick,

and not attempt to move Waiters for the same.

Yet, Presti likes to hold on to mistakes for far too long.

It'd probably be more logical to just stretch Novak's contract...

DJ...let him expire I guess.

^ was thinking of them more for their contracts and teams trying to free up space.. and getting him back on the qualifying offer might not be the worse thing

get to see how adams and mcgary have developed.. and moving kanter is a possibility

like the situation wwith DJ

He takes the QO,

he has to OK any trade involving him.

He'd also lose his Bird rights.

Not the most advantageous position for the Thunder,

or Kanter for that matter.
