I do think he's going back to LA though. No reason to meet with Dallas one more time to say I'm really coming. Has likely happened a bunch of times.

The Spurs were a top 2 team in the West though. Regardless of seed. And the Clippers beat them so.......

This isn't Spartacus and this isn't paying back your friend. This is a young man making the biggest decision of life doing business with billionaires who were more than likely far from genuine to get where they are doing business with someone like DJ to begin with. What's best for you is more important than being some noble facade by "keeping your word" to these businessmen, especially since DJ didn't do anything wrong. Again, the process isn't DJ's problem. His future is.
