The Mavs are justifiably devastated. In one day, you go from contending with a new core to a rebuild. So much free agency work wasted.

- about 100 million tied up in parsons/Matthews
- probably won't be bad enough to land in the top 7 and keep their pick
- not many desirable assets or young guys with potential value down the line

An to top that off the Clips will probably punish Dallas this season on the court. Mavs might win 1 at home.
