Come on DJ, don't be a coward and blame your agent. You're a grown *** man and can't make that big of a decision on your own? Take some responsibility bruh.

Flagrant. He gotta go at this point
Agent aint going down with the ship, he wants no parts of the shenanigans

Atleast to the public, now he can claim he had no hand in it, while pocketing a few more millions.

Mavs have to tank bad this year if they want to keep their pick or else its going to the Celtics. Its going to be hard to tank since literately 10 other teams are doing the same thing. They really needed DJ

So does this open up 1 more Playoff spot in the West? Clipper were still probably a playoff team with DJ. Looks like Mavs definitely won't be back in the Playoffs

Wes Matthews goofed

AFTER ALL THAT HE DIDNT EVEN TAKE THE MAX?!
Oh my he really is an idiot asterisk boy. So stupid. Did he forget that he lives in California :smh:

but it was true though. I said the decision was 95% due to the agent pushing him to go to Dallas when it happened. It had nothing to do with his beef with CP3.

Agents are suppose to give you great professional advice. He was the one telling him he's hurting himself by being on the Clippers. His whole motive was to get him to Cuban as a "favor."

DJ found out Fegan's motives and just didn't appreciate it. He didn't even know his agent demanded CP3 be traded.

Doesn't make it any better. Still shows what a soft minded individual DJ is, but it says something about this guy being gullible.

What a great day. #1 Option, 20/20 DJ.

Milked Parsons for dozens of hookers and dinners

Can't wait for another 2nd round exit. LEGGO!

I think he made the right decision. If he gets injured it probably isn't the right decision. But if you feel like you have a lot left and you're young, signing a 5 year deal doesn't really make sense. If he plays like he played this past season, he'll be looking at $30M per, potentially.

How would the agent doing Cuban a favor benefit him? Wouldn't the agent want him up stay on the Clips so he can pocket more money?

You can tell DJ mental is the type that he wasn't suppose to be here. Wasn't suppose to blow up this big in the league. He don't no how to deal with the ins and outs.

Matthews blew out his Achilles and signed for $16 million per year, are there really articles about him deciding to stay in light of this? Come on.

Nahh man, trust me. Fegan is boys with Cuban. Cuban signed Parsons to that ridiculous deal last year. This was a scratch my back I;ll scratch your back type of deal.

You really think an agent as big as him cares about missing out on a little bit of money?

There's no good reason he didn't pick up that extra year. Absolutely none. Don't care. It don't matter what you feel like you have in the tank. He will be 30 by time that contract is over. You go thru all of that you get your money.
See that's what happens when you don't have your agent in the room.

what if DJ was secretly going for the Clippers all along and was sent by Ballmer to district the Mavs and in the process weaken them
