Full delusion has kicked in, if Kobe stays relatively healthy, the Lakers make the playoffs.

at the Lakers making the playoffs.

I'd put $100 on this again but last year the censored boy didn't pay up.

Every player has annoying fans, people just pick and choose which ones they want to hate more based on personal preference.
This usually changes for me year in and out.

This year there is no clear front runner. I like everyone minus Hibbert and Lance Stephenson who have no fans so they don't count.

Because someone has made a ton of money doesn't mean they should take less than market value. In 2031 after my 10th year as CEO (somewhere), I'm not going to turn down my bonus in order to make sure the guy in the mail room makes 45K. Sorry.

AP Sources: Kevin Garnett's 2-year deal with the Timberwolves will be worth $16 million.

Dammit. See you'd think money should stop being so important after you've made 350+ mil in your career. :smh:
Should've signed for the vet min

Instead of getting on the players for taking money, why don't you get on the owners for not raising the cap high enough?

I actually considered throwing this out there. If Kobe plays 80% of the games I'm riding with that statement.

edit: and we get Hibbert

the Lakers are in no position to make the playoffs, even if Kobe plays 82 games.

"This is something that I've never seen in my career, and I know that it doesn't happen very often," Parsons told ESPN.com on Thursday. "When a man gives you his word and an organization his word, especially when that organization put in so much effort and I walked him through this process and was very, very open and willing to work with him, it's just very unethical and disrespectful."
"He wasn't ready for being a franchise player. He was scared," Parsons said. "He was scared to take the next step in his career. There was no other reason other than that he was comfortable and he has friendships there. How you make a business decision like that is beyond me. How you ignore an owner like Mark who is in your hometown just waiting for a chance to talk to you is beyond me.

"I don't think he made a mistake. I think he'll be good in L.A. He's got a good team, he's got a great point guard, he's got Blake, but I think he could have been a superstar in Dallas. He could have been the man in Dallas. Never in a million years did I think that this was even a possibility.

"I'll still be friends with him, but I can't get over the way that he's put our entire franchise in jeopardy. It's normal to get cold feet. It's normal to get second thoughts, but you don't back out of a commitment of this much magnitude this late in the game and just leave us high and dry."

Deandre's first legitimate post move came in the 'Up and Under' he gave to the Mavs' front office. Dude is scared of leading his own team and I hope that the Clippers never make it out of the second round.

Damn, Parsons had a lot of truth in what he said. I don't blame DJ for getting cold feet, but going back on your word like that....just hard for guys to respect you because your word and balls is all you have.

Hmmm, Parsons reaction is to call DJ scared and not ready to accept the challenge.

Meanwhile, Blake, when DJ told him he was signing with Dallas, said he was happy if DJ was happy.

Life comes at you fast, as you guys like to say.

My how peoples true colors show.

Mind you I fully understand Parsons frustrations. But Blake could have equally felt the same way but didn't.

DJ - this all could have been handled better with one simple call, at the very least.
