I really have to explain why you don't give max deals to role players who just suffered a severe injury?

Really?
when Dame and LA are on the floor, damn near the entire league is a role player.... no matter how good you are

he's young... no one knows how his body will respond

Cuban is not wreckless.... yes, he's taking a chance... but we all have to assume its a very calculated and thought out risk

"All in all, players who returned from a ruptured Achilles didn't see a huge dropoff in their rate stats in their first season back, surprisingly. On the whole, these players' usage, rebound and assists rates generally stayed constant. However, their efficiency took a hit, as the collective dropped from 45.9 percent shooting to 40.9 on average. That could be the result of players settling for more 3-pointers as they tried to get their legs under them, as the average 3-point rate rose 21 percent."

We ain't won a playoff series since and had one of the best 20 players in the history of the NBA in his prime.
bruh... you like them Cleveland Indians fans at the beginning of Major League

why are you even a fan ...seems like you hate everything about them lol

jesus

feel like im the only Mavs fan that rides for them ...

everyone else act like we the damn Timberwolves

some fans are realistic and don't beat the home team drum just because thats your team. If you can't understand a 4 year $70 is awful for Wes Matthews, than you're just a homer.

Can't stand fans who think their teams **** don't stink. A bad deal is a bad deal even if it happens to be your team.

Wes is a role player on any team in the league though

Young? He's going to be on the wrong side of 30 for the majority of the contract.

Giving max deals to (almost) 30 year old role players coming off major injury is a bad move. Period.

The point of being a fan, is to be objective.

You ride hard for them, but at the same time be critical of them and their moves at times.

I respect @SneakerPro  for that
Plus he's a Lions fan also
