I think perception has a lot to do with the media narratives and groupthink on the message boards. We hate KD b/c he's "beta" and love Russ all the sudden now cuz he's "alpha".
Few years ago, Russ was a knucklehead and KD was the darling.
That "beta" **** was always corny and not true. The Clippers are actually whiny as hell. Their coach whines at press conferences about missed calls, the players whine on the court about foul calls, etc. There's no confirmation bias or groupthink needed there.
