What's the difference between what Memphis and Houston have been the last 5 or 6 years and what Denver was during Karl's tenure? Win a lot of games in the regular season. Get bounced in the first round. Catch a few matchup breaks and have a chance at a WCF?
You're telling me you won't take THAT success over taking mid to late lottery picks for a decade +?
A chance at a WCF? So basically spin your wheels in hopes of major injuries to other squads ? nah I'm cool on that false hope.
Again building through the draft also gives you the benefit of flexibility.
It's all opinion really you're gonna need a bit of luck either.
