LA is the mecca of basketball :pimp:

I mean, I won't go quite that far, but it has more claim to that title than NYC. Home of the winningest college basketball program, the second winningest NBA franchise, produces tons of NBA-level talent. Just saying.

Not living in NY but being close enough to reap the benefits of NY>>>>>>>>

So really Jersey>>>>>>>>>>>>>>

That's litterally the complete opposite.

The best benefits of NY are from living here. People from Jersey get the worst of NY when they visit and fight each other in the meatpacking.

The crazy amount of money it costs to live in the tiniest places in NYC voids all that to me.

All NBA LA team washes any other city or even state:

Westbrook
Harden
Ariza
Paul Pierce
Amir Johnson

(I could arguable claim the Lopez twins since they were born in North Hollywood, but they went to HS in Fresno so I'm not counting them).

NY will always be the mecca of basketball

maybe not NBA basketball, but as a whole sport

Amir over Tyson chandler? Must be an oversite

replace ariza with klay

or maybe paul pierce depending on how washed you think he is

Klay is from OC. I limited my list to LA proper. If I drew from surrounding areas it would just be unfair -

Russell
Klay
Harden
Kawhi
(Insert any big)

Well hes not one of them.

You seem to be pretty fascinated with the lakers tho

Yeah, he is. He had a very good year in Washington two years ago and was a big reason why the Rockets improved last year. Ask Rockets fans.

And you talk about the Clippers way more than I talk about the Lakers, so don't try to pull that "fascinated" card with me.

Your a fool if you think the term "mecca" stems from a collection of athletes playing ball in the summer  the only thing LA would ever be the mecca of is fake people who all want to act, pr0n, and bloods & crips. That's it.

OK, let's see then -

Is NYC the Mecca of NBA basketball? Clearly not.

College basketball? Nope.

Prep basketball? Nope.

So why is it the Mecca then?

And as if NYC isn't loaded with fake people who want to act. LOL. Except they want to be on Broadway instead of the movies, which makes them even lamer.
