i feel like if Prime Shaq played today he would dominate the paint even more than he did in his day. Nobody would be able to guard him. i've seen him standing next to DeMarcus and he makes him look tiny

I think if Shaq played at any time, he would have dominated the paint regardless.

I couldn't stand him when he was playing. But now that he's gone, I miss him

Craziest thing is how small Yao makes Shaq look. If he could've stayed healthy

Yep this touch, skills, and shooting ability were terrific.

Shaq was so good, he has a scoring title, 4 NBA titles, 3 NBA finals MVP's, named as one of the 50 greatest players 4 years into his career,

and He Stilllll underachieved in his career. What a specimen.

Shaq was at 28, 13, 6 with like 3 blocks. I don't know if I would say Hakeem put shaq "in his place"

come on. Stats aint everything. If you just looked at the stats, you'd think he did fantastic.

Hakeem was averaging over 30 in that entire series. He dominated him. It was apparent. I think Shaq even said he was owned and realized he wasn't as good as he thought he was.

I'd still like to see Shaq play Hakeem one on one right now. If i remember correct, they were suppose to play on PPV and winner got $1M. Something like that

That's fair. Still wouldn't call it dominating. You can't "dominating though." If that's his matchup, and he's giving up almost 30 a night to his matchup, he can't dominating him.

Loved seeing Hakeem show young Shaq what time it was though in 1995. Had to put him in place.

Anyone remember that one on one game they were supposed to play after the finals in 1995. Supposed to be a pay per view event. Didnt Hakeem back out of it though?

Yep, i mentioned it in one of my posts. THE WAR ON THE FLOOR was what they called it. Winner got $1M. I think it was going to be $19.95 to get it. Hakeem backed out at the last minute i believe

You've seen the games, I've seen the games. I fail to see how my age matters with this

No disrespect towards you.

I just don't like to "debate" with someone about something they saw at age 6 or 8 while I was 21. Its a useless argument.

Its why i don't argue with my pops about guys like Jerry West. Never saw him play (highlights don't count), so I keep my mouth shut. Someone who never saw Melo play but saw his highlights would think he was one of the 20 best players ever. But we know the truth.

So yes, age does have a lot to do with things when we;re talking about something that happened 20 or more years ago

And its why i stay out of discussions about Social Media. I leave that to the youngsters. I just don't understand social media.
