There are only three players in NBA history with the same or worse offensive skill set as Tristan Thompson that would deserve a legit MAX contract if they were in their prime today: Ben Wallace, Dennis Rodman and Dikembe Mutombo. And Tristan for damn sure ain't any of them. Dude is being flat out unreasonable.

I guess it boils down to options really, and it appears that Thompson thinks he has a few.Reggie Jackson pulled a similar feat, only difference was Reggie did it for the starting position he cared none about the dough and his skills spoke for him and got him the money.Tristan is chasing the money and it's not likely his skills are going to match that for another year
