If the Lakers complete roster was swapped with a team like the Sixers or Bucks or some random team, and that team got a ton of National TV games because "OMG KOBE BRYAAAAAANT", Lakers fans would complain about how nobody wants to watch that scrub team and old man Kobe launching 30+ shots

The only mass you pay attention to is Kobe's.

QFT!

The fact that they're even debating this is ridiculous.

So since the Knicks were the second most watched team in national TV last year, I guess they should have more games too than huh? Bet these same dudes defending this would be the same clowns complaining if the sorry ole Knicks were getting this many games on national TV.

They should have a significant amount of games as the Lakers.

The fact that you're debating this is ridiculous, and not realizing why the Lakers are on TV so often.

It's all about $$$$$ and what generates the most money for the NBA.

Great argument.

A lot of the Lakers national tv games has to do with filling up the west coast time slot. Only so many games you can have with the Warriors and Clippers.

You know how many more interesting westcoast teams there are than the Lakers? Pelicans, Minny,
The Suns, Kings and Blazers are uh, interesting but they're not drawing views.

Without Kobe, the Lakers are drawing even LESS views than all of those teams mentioned.
I'm talking Pacific time zone. Someone else has to fill the 10:30 ET games during the week and 3:30 ET games on Sunday.

Blazers vs Cavs the day after Xmas!

Lakers coming to Portland on a Saturday!

Yeah, I wasn't debating about why they were on TV. I KNOW it's all about the money which is why they're on TV.

My comment was towards wanting to see other teams that are way more competitive and exciting to watch.

It's really not that serious . I have league pass so I could give a damn about national tv games. The bigger question is why hasn't there been a mature discussion on global climate change in this thread? These are pressing issues that need to be resolved, ASAP
