I don't think that. I think that the Knicks are more likely to make the playoffs than the Lakers. A lot of that is because the Knicks play in the East, but still. Assuming Melo is healthy, the Knicks should be better than last season.

Knicks are good for 35-40 wins, barring injury. they have actual NBA players at every position who know their role.
