I don't get your Alonzo gif lol. Dude compared ojs first two years to beals first three years. Ojs first two years was a perfect example of him putting up numbers on a garbage team. And regardless oj is better for the team coming off the bench and not as good for the team starting. Its a proven fact that he only puts up numbers on struggling teams. Im not sure how its an alozno gif to state that

Dude, I was agreeing with you

I said Mayo put up numbers while they were trash, and once Memphis became good, OJ was no longer getting starter minutes

Do you not understand the meaning of the Alonzo gif

At his peak, EG was getting to the line almost 7 times a game. He was at the line over 5 times a game at 22 years old. The OJ comparison is much closer in style of play than Eric Gordon.

Also, one plays in the east and one plays in the west, so I mean yeah he's proven he can produce on a winner, but he's doing that on an eastern conference team. Regardless though, the point was that OJ's style of play and Beal's style of play share a lot of similarities through Beal's first 3 years in the league, although Beal certainly shows the capacity to go beyond that moving forward.

It's not even a bad thing at what I'm saying. If he sustained a career where he was at 18 / 5 / 5 on 45 / 40 / 90 splits that would be awesome. But I saw people saying that Beal was going to make "that jump" this upcoming season, to which i'm skeptical about. But he's young, and looked the part against ATL in the playoffs, so we'll see.

Wanted an Eric Gordon authentic for the longest time but shipping costs to my country was disgusting

beal looked good against chicago in the 2014 playoffs

playoffs is a small sample size to take serious

I don't like the Gordon comparison because

-Gordon was explosive before the injuries (first step and leaping), he was like a bowling ball in the lane. Beal isn't quite as physical as Gordon used to be nor does he have the physical tools

-Gordon was a true score first player, almost a black hole. Beal just doesn't have that mentality

Not to be a stickler, but Memphis was (somehow) solid in Juice's second year. Just didn't have enough depth to make the playoffs in 2010.

Where has the big man gone?
Why has the game changed so drastically, that capable people no longer bang in the paint?
What happened to the guy that you could simply throw the ball in to, and he could get you a deuce on two quick moves?
Timmy D, are you lonely?
Dwight, you gotta hold up the flag!
We all know that Hibbert isn't capable enough to remind us of years past.
Kobe won't allow that anyway.
He wants Tyson Chandler.
LeBron unMozgoved Mozgov.
Where is Moses?

Phil Jackson needs to be grandma slapped in his mouth. Straight up.

Why would he make those comments. This dude does not want to see the Knicks be great. That owner Nut better throw in the towel man. Jesus Christ those comments sound worse today than they did yesterday for some reason.

Poor Carmelo my ***. Own your decision Carmelo, don't blame anyone but the $
Yep melo made that bed, he better lay in it.

I think if you look at strictly the numbers from OJ's first 2 seasons and Beal's first 3, you will see very similar results. Whether it was empty stats by Mayo or not, I'm not even looking at the team record. I'm strictly focusing on the production from both players.

Literally almost every statistic plus the fact that Beal did not make a huge leap in any of his first 3 seasons prove that. If we are going to bring up records, we might as well start getting into the conferences they played in and their given situation.

Nothing has stood out from Beal's rookie year to his 3rd year. And I think just about everyone on here believed in OJ after his first 2 seasons because he was doing exactly what Beal was doing. Stop trying to act like you knew what OJ was going to become considering the type of numbers he was putting up as a rookie and as a sophmore whether it was on a bad team or not. Some of the things he was doing during that time period was pretty impressive.

Best team I played on! Practice was sometimes harder than the game! #tbt#

That was a crazy squad.

If Sabonis came over earlier before all the injuries, he woulda been one of the best ever in the league, dude had it all.

7'3 with 3pt range, all the post moves, court vision, rim defender and was an elite athlete.

He, Walton and Yao just make me :smh:.
