So how the hell can you say one guy did it himself

Well, I'm not literally saying one guy won on his own. In the history of NBA titles, you can still make the argument that certain years, certain players carried more of a load

The year Dallas won, nobody expected them to be title contenders

Hell, by playoff time, I recall many analysts and NTers saying Portland would upset them in the first round

IMO, I don't think it's unfair to say Dirk, Duncan, Hakeem fall under that category

Terry shot damn near 50% from 3 on high volume.

Hell, jet had 27 points in the closeout game to dirk's 21. Dirk was 1 for 12 in the first half of that game and the mavs were still up at halftime. Jet shot 80% for 19 points in the first half. Just really cockamamie to imply dirk did it by himself. Also Barkley called the mavs winning it before the playoffs started, but whether analysts pick you to win doesn't mean anything and doesn't have anything to do with the subject anyway.

So should Terry have gotten the Finals MVP like Pau should have or nah? I mean Dirk shot 41% to Terry's 49% plus he punked out Bron?

Dirk 2011: 26 ppg, 10 rpg, 2 apg 41% shooting

Pau 2010: 19 ppg, 12 rpg, 4 apg 48% shooting

Wade was putting up 20 a game and there we're 3 other guys averaging double figures in 2013.

Dirk is definitely a HOF and the MVP in that championship year, but he didn't do it himself.  NO ONE HAS EVER.

Wade averaged 16 ppg in the 2013 playoffs.

Which is lower than Jason Terry's ppg average in the 2011 run.

Bron had 3 teammates in double figures during the playoff run, the lowest of those at 10.2.

Dirk had 2, although Kidd was right there at just above 9. So not a significant diff b/t 10 & 9.
