wilt rode busses and economy class and played games wearing chuck taylors yet still played 82 games averaging over 48 minutes in a season. he also had the energy to smash 100s of women a week

nba players these days cry about the season being too long while their coach rests them in select regular season games and they live life in luxury 

in the 80s players would get into fights all the time and were not afraid to get hit

these days melo misses a punch and back peddles faster than he ever has on defense

Agree. That notion is way overblown. Plus, its not like players being friends off the court is anything new. Magic and Isiah, Jordan and Barkley, etc.
