I'm ready to see LAC in the mix, they have the players in place and now not everything is on the starters' shoulders

Getting past SAS last season proved a lot to me about the core. Felt robbed of Draymond vs Blake II
IMO

The last two West coast finalist have avoided significant injury to their stars in the regular season. This has allowed them to not only win 60 plus games, but get that top seed. The last two western conference finals featured the top two teams record wise in the conference (SAS vs OKC and GSW vs HOU - Albeit Houston had a lot of injuries last year)

Point i'm getting at is LAC in the past two years have won 57 and 56 wins and have been in that 3rd seed with Blake and CP both missing significant time during those two years. If they are to break through, they've got to avoid significant injury to their big 3. That's no guarantee that they will break through, but if the Clips are to break through they'll have to get to that top two tier teams record wise and health will go a long way in determining that.

I don't know why or how the Clippers didn't make it to the WCF last year, but it had nothing to do with them not being a 1 or 2 seed

Why are the clippers talked about so much as a whole?  They sound like a joke.  They are cursed!!!  They look like the Eagles or something.  Bringing in brand name guys and not having done anything in the past 10 plus year or what have you.  From the Lamar, Q, Olawakandi, Piatkowski, etc.  No matter what nucleus you bring in, they just capsize.  All I know is that Doc took care of his son and DeAndre indecisive as ever, just like the rebound put back.

Right. They blew a 3-1 lead with a healthy squad. Seeding aint the reason, testicular fortitude heavily lacking.

Well, to be fair, a Game 7 at home would have likely ended in a Clipper win so the seeding did have somethig to do with it. They still choked doe.

Gotta tell it like it 'tis. When I used to be a laker fan and they lost to the suns after being up 3-1, they just weren't good enough. No sugar to coat it.

That's a simplistic view of things. They blew a 3-1 lead with a healthy squad.

If they were that healthy throughout the year, they have a better shot at the 2 seed and having homecourt in the 2nd round. Teams with homecourt in a series generally do win the series. The Clippers have won one series (against memphis) in which they didn't have homecourt in the CP era.

All i'm saying is if a team has homecourt they have a better shot at winning the series. Relax man

I mean game 6 was at home and they lost so....

They still choked doe

Seent that one coming a mile away

Game 7 against the Spurs was at home so....

Clippers are undefeated in home game 7's with everyone's favorite PG [emoji]128064[/emoji][emoji]128064[/emoji]

There's been literally one team in the west in the past two years that has one a series without Homecourt advantage. There's a reason for that

You have a much better chance of winning a series with homecourt

Don't get me wrong, it's the biggest choke I've ever seen but if Chris Paul plays game 2, that series is a sweep. Not an excuse, just a likely scenario.

Then the Harden legacy hot takes would have gone through the roof

But all in all, yea there's 0 reason for blowing a 3-1 lead especially when you have a 20pt lead in the 3rd quarter of the clincher. But that's life as a Clipper fan. Par for the course.

if clippers dont get the #1 seed this year they minus whale not show up to the playoffs

They shouldn't bother showing up regardless of seed. I learned this morning that they'll never be better than the Rockets and that they're still cursed. Season over before it started. :frown:
