This offseason in general has been pretty quiet for the NBA though

The draft, where will LMA sign and the DJ drama were the only big stories (unless my memory is failing). Pretty surprised there hasn't been more pub on the warriors but there hasn't been a lot if NBA pub in general

i can definitely feel what you're saying but i hate when people, i'm not talking about you lol, try to devalue or belittle or even put an asterisk on what the warriors accomplished. like you said, a championship is a championship and I'm sure the Warriors will prove to the League why it wasn't a fluke and the injuries of other teams probably made no difference when they repeat.

Yeah no need to defend the validity of your team's championship in the NBA Offseason thread in S&T.

You should channeling the GOAT reveling in what your team accomplished.
 
If the Clippers won the title I would bet $150 that at least a few of you Clipper fans would be responding to any bat signal sent out by the many CP0 haters
 
Don't give a flying **** what any other Clipper fan would do. I would prefer we win on a controversial call that goes our way and I will troll the **** out of all of you. 
 
you guys trying hard to argue. the warriors won last year. they deserved it. i dont get what the issuse is. seems like some want to pull a skip bayless technicality and focus on the truffles. all the talk about how the clippers are better or whatever. yet, no one gives a sheeezles on how damian feels or whether artest will come back, or how lamarcus is doing in SA.

sheesh... stay fly fam.

When OKC wins its going to be the same.

Westbrook might be able to pull some late offseason headlines but I doubt it.

Not everybody can be Lebron and Kobe.
If Cavs won it'd be touched everyday on ESPN, even in September.

Nobody cares about GSW winning.
Or Spurs.

Kobe could die his hair right now and get more stories than GSW(and many other teams)

There was a story about how KD went to some amsterdam XXX club or whatever, yet no one talks about it.  At least he's growing up w/o his mom.

WB lacks focus.  He's so enraged w/ his stats, that he forgot the 'team' concept.  Yeah, you can call him a beast or whatever, but he was always under that cloud.  Both KD and WB need each other.  They came close, but couldn't get it done.  WB focused too much on 'gimmicks' like dressing wild and all that.  The players now are totally naive, self centered and blind.  They aren't there to stamp their names in the HOF, they are there to stamp their names on FB/IG.

Not winning with both WB/KD and firing Brooks is tragic, bringing in a NCAA coach like Donovan and having an egotistical guy like WB  WILL NOT WORK.  These NBA guys have egos through the roof. They won't listen to anyone.  WB just another more athletic AI, no post move, no skill set, just selfish and narcissistic.  Dude will be finished when another injury besets him, or when father time catches up to him.  People will cry, because they do not understand.  It's not about stats, it's about doing what you have to do to win.  WB did not do that.  He tried to play ATLAS and carry everyone, but he isolated his team.  You do not win a war that way.

Generation change for real.  These prima donnas would rather set screens for an IG pic then shoot jumpers and play for the love of the game. FAX

Out of all the players in today's game, you single out Westbrook as the one with no passion/true love for the game and love for being a celebrity? :lol:, I'm sorry but your assessment is way off IMO. That shoe fits way more on a whole lot of other players...
 
Every NBA championship could have an asterisk next to it if people really wanted to get picky about it.

EVERY SINGLE ONE. It's sports, someone's gonna get hurt, personal issues arise, etc etc.
