Memphis need some more perimeter scoring. That said there one of those teams to me that they will have a good regular season but unless they do drastic changes they will be like the Hawks with JJ,JSMOOVE. 2nd or 1st Round everytime.

Mitch said if Boss waited an extra day, he would've gotten paid. But alas, I'm happy for him.
Where did that nickname come from and link to that story? That sounds like terrible management

At the same time having two PF's who can't really play together is tough, ala Thompson and Love
"I just do boss things, move like a boss, talk like a boss, act like a boss. That's about it."

You're right about playing Randle and Boss together. That's why I wanted Towns so bad. Besides being an awesome prospect, he would have been fit well next to Boss or Randle in lineups.

Never understood the Hawks comparison when MEM has won about the same or more playoff series than the Clippers and Rockets over the last 3-4 years. This is the same argument I made a few months ago. People like to point out that Memphis is losing in the 1st or 2nd round, but fail to point out Houston and LAC does the same thing. Maybe you can blame injuries, but you can also blame injuries for Memphis as well. This is why I always say those 3 teams are about on the same level regardless of their star power.

The only teams that can make a case for being better are the 3 obvious choices (SAS, GSW and OKC). They've won more playoff series/games than the other 3 teams over the last 3-4 years and they all pretty well oiled machines with generational talent.

I have no problem with someone saying Memphis may not win a title or will not make the WCF, but don't put LAC and HOU on a pedestal when they in the same boat  Also, the Hawks comparison wouldn't go for any of those teams. ATL never were considered a threat to go anywhere during any season (this year was the only year). Most people knew they were a 1st round exit during the Joe Johnson / Josh Smith era and they were facing even weaker opponents. So, the comparison will never make sense to me.

The Rockets are more well rounded than the Clippers and Grizzlies. I see no reason why not to place them above the other two teams.

I would also argue the Grizzlies haven't improved in terms of adding any new pieces while Houston and LAC have

I wouldn't be mad if someone thought more highly of Houston or LAC than MEM

In my opinion they are all pretty close

we're going to hang a banner in a little over a month while yall hang selfies
:pimp:

The clipper way

Bro, you can post as many smileys, rolling smileys, selfie jokes, etc. as you want, but its not going to make me change how I feel about the Warriors. I'm not saying they're not good. They earned that title. I just don't like them. Don't take it so personally.

Lots of people hate the Clippers and I don't really care.

So, now that the title is up for grabs again, and the Clippers have a chance -- even if its an outside chance -- I'm going to continue to say **** the Warriors.

I'll give you three reasons -

1. Their best player dates a Kardashian
2. Their second best player is Dwight Howard
3. Their biggest offseason acquisition is coming off his 3rd DUI.

1. Odom had a career year while married to said Kardashian!
2. Nothing wrong with Dwight being the second best player.
3. I have no comeback.

Morey has enough assets to flip too unlike the Clippers and Grizzlies.

I don't see how Memphis have not added any new pieces when clearly they added more athleticism / better scoring up front in Wright and added a little more depth in Barnes. They lost Koufos, but they were losing more of his defensive presence than anything which is something the team doesn't lack.

Also, simply being healthy will say a lot about them. 70% Gasol in 13-14 and a broken face Conley + limping TA during the playoffs this past season. I would like to see everyone healthy for a change come playoff time to see what they can do during their final years as a core.

I think Houston has a ton of depth, but we just have to see how everything pans out for them. Making more acquisitions does not automatically mean improvement. Considering the question marks (Stephenson, Lawson) both HOU and LAC added, I'll much rather wait to see how they all play out during the season before saying they are better than Memphis. I also think LAC bench will need some fixing soon by making a couple of trades to balance out the perimeter. However, I will say the Pierce signing is underrated. I honestly think picking him up just may push LAC a little ahead the other two squads.

Clippers best player is a ******.
2nd best player disappears in the 4th quarter.
Doc is an idiot and DJ is still a liability down the stretch.

What's going to be funny is that one of OKC, SAS and GSW will more than likely be out in the 1st round and get put out by one of those other 3 teams or by each other. I just don't see everything perfectly aligning up to where they all make the 2nd round.
