No way Barnes signs that extension.
1. He knows it will send him to the bench if they signed KD because he allowed them the salary cap room.
2. He knows somebody else will at least offer him that much per year and he could continue to start
He seems pretty sharp so, I find it hard to believe he would take this personal, I think he just leaves, regardless if he's offered way more or not, as long as it's similar.

Some dumb team will give Barnes a ton of money..
Perfect role guy, can play multiple positions and can bring a lot to the table when he's on.. But you don't want him as for me of your main 2

Warriors a e obviously a good fit with their depth, if he doesn't have it that night well they just go with other guys at the 3/4 spot(s).. But Dre is getting older, so you would rather the younger guy get the heavy mins through the season
